Couples Therapy:

Navigating Perimenopause, Menopause, and Post-Menopause

Couples therapy can be particularly helpful during the transitions of perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause, a time that can bring significant emotional and physical changes. These shifts often impact relationships, with partners facing challenges related to communication, intimacy, and understanding each other’s needs.

In a supportive, nonjudgmental space, I guide couples in exploring how these life changes may be affecting their bond. Using evidence-based approaches like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, couples can improve communication, rebuild emotional intimacy, and manage the stress that menopause-related changes may introduce.

The goal of therapy is to foster mutual understanding, strengthen emotional connection, and equip couples with practical tools to navigate this transformative phase together.

Personality Disorders Therapy (BPD & Narcissism)

Navigating life with a personality disorder such as Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) or Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) can feel overwhelming, but therapy offers a path to understanding, healing, and change. Whether you're struggling with intense emotions, unstable relationships, or difficulties with self-image, I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore your experiences and work toward lasting transformation.

Using evidence-based approaches like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for BPD and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we’ll focus on emotional regulation, improving relationships, and fostering a healthier sense of self. Together, we can develop coping skills to manage overwhelming emotions, reduce impulsivity, and build stronger, more fulfilling connections with others.

Therapy for personality disorders is a journey of self-awareness, growth, and acceptance. I’m here to support you in understanding your patterns, creating healthier relationships, and cultivating a more balanced, confident life. You deserve a space to heal and evolve, and I’m committed to walking alongside you every step of the way.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

Equine-Assisted Therapy

For stress, ADHD, and emotional balance

MBSR teaches mindfulness practices like breathwork, meditation, and body awareness to help you stay grounded and present. It reduces reactivity, improves focus, and supports emotional stability—especially for those navigating ADHD, anxiety, and eating disorders.

For negative thought patterns, depression, anxiety, and ADHD

CBT helps you identify and shift unhelpful thinking. It’s practical and goal-focused—supporting better emotional regulation, improved focus, and a stronger sense of control. CBT is effective for depression, eating disorders, and ADHD.

For emotional intensity, impulsivity, and relationship challenges

Originally developed for BPD, DBT builds skills in four key areas: mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. It’s also helpful for ADHD, anxiety, depression, and disordered eating.

For stress, self-esteem, and behavior change

Hypnotherapy uses focused relaxation to work with the subconscious mind, helping you reframe beliefs and reduce emotional blocks. It’s useful for anxiety, low confidence, disordered eating, and ADHD.

For trauma, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps you process and release stuck memories from painful or distressing experiences. It reduces emotional intensity and promotes healing without requiring detailed retelling. EMDR is especially helpful for trauma-related anxiety, ADHD, and BPD.

For healing, connection, and growth

EAT integrates the intuitive presence of horses into the therapeutic process to support emotional healing, self-awareness, and regulation. Guided by a licensed, trauma-informed therapist, sessions help clients explore emotional patterns and build healthier relationships—no horse experience needed. This experiential approach offers a powerful alternative to traditional talk therapy, especially for those navigating trauma, anxiety, or emotional challenges.
